Christina has in-depth knowledge and experience with the issues resolved in her mediation practice, having addressed them from every angle as a litigator, advisor, corporate attorney and employee, and mediator.

Corporate Legal & Executive Experience:

Christina’s diverse scope at The Walt Disney Company included oversight of all litigation for Disneyland Resort, policies and practices impacting 30,000+ employees, high profile talent disputes for ABC Studios, sexual harassment claims litigated domestically and internationally, global security legal issues, multi-million-dollar individual and class action employment lawsuits, wage and hour compliance and litigation, and disability and religious accommodations.

Extensive senior executive experience allows Christina to offer practical and personal insight that is invaluable to the mediation process.

Christina was immersed at Disney in corporate and human resource operations, litigation strategy, and negotiation of effective and fair outcomes. As a result, she has an in-depth understanding of the internal process by which corporate decisions are made and disputes are valued and resolved.

Known for her legal expertise and judgment, as well as her thoughtful attention to employee interests as an advisor and an employee herself, Christina was often involved at Disney in highly sensitive and emotional matters that benefited from her thoughtful guidance.

Law Firm Experience:

Christina’s law firm background includes litigation, counseling, and settlement experience as an Of Counsel at Paul, Hastings, LLP, where she handled the full range of employment matters through trial. Her experience encompassed individual claims involving discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, leave of absence, accommodations and retaliation, as well as wage and hour class and representative actions.

Education and Training:

Christina earned her law degree from Georgetown University Law School and her undergraduate degree in Political Science and Communications from Macalester College.  

Christina completed “Mediating the Litigated Case” at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine School of Law during her tenure at The Walt Disney Company.

Christina is committed to the mediation process and has brought her passion for this work to her role as both a plaintiffs’ and defendants’ volunteer settlement officer with the Superior Court of Los Angeles mandatory settlement conference program, Resolve Law L.A. She has assisted over one hundred parties in settlement conferences on both sides with their personal injury, general negligence, and products liability cases, with a high rate of success resolving challenging disputes.
